As each customer’s requirements are different we have developed a modular based imaging solution that can easily be tailored to the customers needs. The system is built around the following modules –

Recognition Engine

At the heart of the system we have our recognition engine that is responsible for processing images and automatically recognising applicable barcodes where possible.

Quality Control Module

For any images that cannot be read automatically the quality control module allows the user to view the image and manually index the document.

Transport Module

The transport module packages up the images and de-coded barcode information and sends them to a host system of the customer’s choice. Such systems could be the users own system, internet server or Lansoft's hosted web server.

This approach leaves the actual scanning hardware independent of the software and allows us to select the most appropriate scanners in terms of speed quality and reliability for the customers needs.
